Class Supplies

Here is just a quick note about organization. Students should have a binder or folder that can be organized by subject. I suggest labeling the tabs Math, Writing, Language, History, and Science. I'll be doing a binder check on Monday, August 22.

Each student will receive a purple folder for important notes home and graded work. I call this the take home folder. Usually there is something to be signed and returned so I've asked students to write "home" on one side of the folder and "return" on the other side. Graded work will go home in these folders once a week. I try to send home folders on Mondays, but some weeks the day varies.  I request that folders be returned so school the next day. Students are allowed to make quiz and test corrections, so corrections should return to school by the end of the week.

So, here is what each student should have so far:

  • A binder/folder organized by subject
  • A take home folder - I already provided the class with a purple take-home folder
  • School supplies from the suggested list below
